The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Warriors Group

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a diverse cast of personalities, and a thrilling plot featuring angels, demons, and sinister influences growing in influence within the urban setting.

Warning: Spoilers for the third episode of the new season follow below.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

The third episode ended with a dramatic pause and introduced the initial group of characters who will split off from the central cast to begin their separate journey, separate from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team includes Teor Pridesire (played by Travis Willingham), Thimble (Laura), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

The Reason for Division

Given 13 cast members, it was obvious from the outset that keeping everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.

This explains, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, connecting the individual narratives before branching into three separate parties: Warriors, Schemers, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

Per the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for adventurers who prefer a typically action-packed fight-heavy story mode where non-violent answers are few and far between.

Upon first impression, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander might seem unsuited, but the actions of the third episode make it clear why these five characters are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the group knows exactly where to head next after a brutal initial meeting with the antagonists.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose death initiated the story’s plot—exploited the enemy for his personal gain, entering the hidden lair, attacking Thimble, and stealing all the enchanted items to dispose of.

Casimir then cleared his obligations and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, beyond the city, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Additionally, each member has a individual motive to exit Dol-Makjar:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and closest confidant, wants vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the region and cautions that it is a nasty location.
  • The warrior and The healer, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to eliminate the fighter and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • Yet, their position as prominent individuals in House Halovar could help the team reach areas they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, The grateful character pledged a eternal obligation to Wicander for his rescue and will now follow him everywhere.

Fugitives

Lastly, all of them are sought by the rulers that govern the city for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • Thimble and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and Wicander betrayed House Halovar and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • Teor is marked for death by House Halovar.

This means them no alternative but to head to Timmony in quest for the antagonist.

Upcoming Developments

From the latest episode’s Cooldown, we find out that the warrior group won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight cast members to form the Explorers and Planners parties.

Fans can expect learning which adventurers will be in which group in the season’s last Overture episode, available to watch on next week.
